Flightstore was moving premises and needed a new state-of-the-art telephone system to suit their dynamic and growing business.

Flightstore was delighted to partner with Russell Telecom; a company with three decade’s experience of meeting the telecommunications needs of UK businesses and organisations.

Russell Telecom carried out a thorough assessment of the company’s existing system and of their specific requirements. Russell Telecom identified the NEC SV8100 telephone system as the ideal solution for Flightstore.

The SV8100 came with voice mail auto-attendant and state-of-the-art 32-Key Desi-Less Handsets.

These handsets are extremely flexible as they are ‘self labelling’ in that their functions can be labelled electronically. This makes them very easy to use and it is straightforward change functions on each handset.

With its ability to be customised for various workplace environments, the NEC 32-Key DESI-less terminal is ideal as an office phone for desk sharers, people working in teams or call centre staff.

A full-feature enterprise-class telephone, the 32-Key DESI-less Digital Phone features a large backlit graphics display with self-labelling keys, four intuitive call state sensitive soft keys and superior sound quality with wideband audio.

“We’re very pleased with our new telecoms solutions as it totally fulfills our brief, is straightforward to use and very flexible. The installation was hassle-free and the installation team was excellent.”
Andrew Holdsworth, owner Flightstore

The 32-Key DESI-less Digital Phone is ideal for any enterprise, executive or manager, ‘hot desk’ users, teleworkers, as well as contact centre agents and supervisors.

The system also came with voice mail, auto-attendant, MyCalls encrypted voice recorder and MyCalls Manager reporting software.

Auto attendant is an optional facility that can be configured so that only out of hours calls and/or calls that have been ringing for a specific length of time are answered by the application. With auto attendant, incoming calls are answered quickly with greeting messages that can be changed depending upon the time of day or day of the week.

Greeting messages can also be tailored to provide callers with dialing options.

The MyCalls Manager software provides the business with real-time graphical information and historic reports providing statistics and management information.

Russell Telecom also provided all the new lines for the new site and managed the transfer of the lines and subsequent training.

Following an evaluation of Flightstore’s call package and tariff, the solution has also served to reduce the company’s ongoing telecoms running costs.

Russell Telecom chose a more suitable and cost-effective package and tariff for Flightstore, which they are very happy with.
