New telecoms solution is fighting fit

Mowbray House Medical Group has two surgeries located in Northallerton and Hutton Rudby. The Group was delighted to partner with Russell Telecom; a company with three decade’s experience of meeting the telecommunications needs of UK businesses and organisations.

Russell Telecom carried out a thorough assessment of the medical group’s existing systems and of their specific requirements.
Mowbray House wanted to replace its existing telecoms systems with a solution that could embrace its requirement for a call recording facility, MyCalls Manager and an auto attendant system.

It also wanted to move back to a standard geographic number and to benefit from a solution that could meet its needs both now and in the future. In addition, Mowbray House required a solution that could embrace its need for a feature-rich system that was also cost-effective, reliable, easy to use and quick to learn.

Russell Telecom completed a comprehensive evaluation of both of the practice’s telecommunications systems before it identified the NEC SV8100 telephone system as the ideal telecoms solution to implement in both surgeries.

The SV8100 is one of the newest digital and IP phone systems from NEC and is the ideal solution for a busy medical practice.
The system includes an integrated digital voicemail, which not only provides a night and day service and auto attendant but also provides call recording.

The auto attendant facility has given the practice the ability to direct callers quickly and effectively to the information they need at the touch of a button. Greeting messages can also be changed to suit requirements.

Russell Telecom has delivered a very cost-effective package incorporating excellent features such as call recording and a call statistics package, which are significant improvements and are already proving beneficial.”

The practice also now has the ability to use NEC’s MyCalls Manager call management software. The software will give the practice the ability to measure how long callers are waiting before they hang up, for example. Russell Telecom also provided the
practices with 58 digital handsets along with MyCalls encrypted voice recorder.

This feature is extremely useful when giving complex information or taking detailed notes over the phone. The information and conversations can be reviewed at a later date on an individual or group basis providing an extremely effective training aid. Many organisations use this feature for recording nuisance or abusive callers and for dispute management. The call recording facility is also very useful for quality control purposes.

The auto attendant feature allows the practice the ability to respond to calls quickly and effectively and to direct callers to the best source of information.

The Mowbray House Medical Group are very pleased with their new telecoms solution.
Richard Rodley, Practice Manager at Mowbray House Medical Group, said: “In updating thetelephone systems at our two sites, our priorities were to move back to a standard geographic number and to install systems which could meet our needs for years to come.

“Russell Telecom has delivered a very cost-effective packageincorporating excellent features such as call recording and a call statistics package, which are significant improvements and are already proving beneficial.”
He added: “We are very happy with the service and efficiency that we have experienced from Russell.”
