The Hambleton Group was delighted to partner with Russell Telecom; a company with over three decade’s experience of meeting the telecommunications needs of UK businesses and organisations.
Russell Telecom carried out a thorough assessment of the Group’s existing systems and of its specific requirements.
The Hambleton Group’s businesses are run out of one large warehousing and office complex but each had their own, separate phone system. The Group wanted one clear and unified telecoms solution, so that the businesses could communicate with each other more fluidly and flexibly as required.
In addition, The Hambleton Group, as a fast-paced business with quality at its core, required a solution that could embrace its need for a featurerich system that was also costeffective, reliable, easy to use and quick to learn.
Russell Telecom completed a comprehensive evaluation of the Group’s telecommunications systems before it identified the ideal NEC telecoms solution.
The NEC SV series includes an integrated digital voicemail, which not only provides a night and day service and auto attendant but also provides call recording.
Russell Telecom also provided the business with 50 NEC display handsets with a mix of Digital and IP deployed as and where required.
A new LAN was simply instigated, using new and existing cabling, to provide the interconnectivity required for the IP handsets and the transition from ISDNs to SIP trunks.
The Hambleton Group is delighted with its new telecoms solution.
Replacing four existing systems with one has reduced the overall costs, made free inter-company calls possible and brought enhanced functionality, such as VoIP remote extensions for The Hambleton Group’s Vectis office in Oxfordshire.
